It was November of 2009, I was asked by a friend to plan their wedding. I’m so thankful they did.
During the wedding day, I had to put down lots of “fires” that happened.
You know, the ones that keep you on the edge of your sit at all times. I felt an adrenaline, a happiness and a sense of purpose I’ve never felt before. One that even my Architecture carrier was never able to give me. I was captured by the feeling of SERVING and making beautiful things happen for an in-love couple.
And that was the moment. That's when I fell in love with weddings.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Owner and Creative Director Melissa Amarante's intuitive and artful approach to design was shaped by her career in architecture, where she cultivated a unique and beautiful taste.
She focuses on the creative side of the business in addition to overseeing the planning process and team management.
Melissa draws inspiration from all art forms – including interior design, nature, furnishings, and fine art – and she will serve you by applying the concepts of creativity, function and conceptual design into creating and curating a beautiful and meaningful event for you and your guests.
Melissa is married to Franklin Vasquez, co-owner of the company. Together, they wave the waters of all their destination couples, ready to give their clients the most complete and amazing experience on their wedding journeys.
Franklin Vasquez
HEAD PLANNER & PROJECT MANAGER
ABOUT THE PROJECT MANAGER
Frank is co-owner of our company. His strong organizational skills stem from a background in his Project Managing Masters Degree and experience both in this, and Finances work in a top international distribution firm offices. He uses his knowledge in these fields to work as the Project Manager of our weddings as he works with vendors, develops relationships with venues and advocate for his clients, and manages their budgets.
Frank shares the same passion as Melissa’s to create meaningful and memorable moments for their clients, not just during the wedding weekend, but also, their actual experience to get to that day, so he keeps looking for creative ways to make clients visits and trips fun, entertaining and meaningful.
Christie
Coordination Lead
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Christie is our Wedding Coordination Team Director and regency specialist. Her mastery of logistics have served her well as she takes to work out all of the puzzle pieces and vendors that go into the Day Of the wedding, to ensure all of our events will run smoothly and efficiently, and that our clients and vendors are well taken care off.
She says her fashion stylist preparation, is part of why she loves assessing brides and wedding parties during their getting ready, so she will put to service this ability overseeing all details regarding your getting ready (hair and makeup, decor, gifts, and any other small detail). Since, of course, there’s no detail too small on the day of a wedding!
Her humor, dance skills, attention to detail, and work ethic make her a joy to work with and an asset to the company.
Francina
Junior Planner
ABOUT THE DESIGNER ASSISTANT
As our Junior Planner, Francina is in charge of lots of the nitty-gritty details as she keeps communication with a variety of vendors, handles the contracting process, and email communications with prospective clients.
One of Francina’s greatest design strength lies in her graphic design background, so she’s in charge of interpreting our client's preferences, and overseeing all details and finishing touches for the wedding weekend stationery and custom-made fabrications; and finally, on wedding weekends, she turns into one of our Lead Coordinators of the Decor Set-Up, keeping herself busy with the active and adrenaline-filled wedding days.
She is smiley, steady, patient, and sweet.
